(Research):Federal Census for birth date. Married first to Michael
MELODY who according to a second marriage application, died about
1890. I have not been able to locate a marriage certificate for
Michael and Marilla, however, I did locate a file in the Wyoming Co.
Historical Society on marriage records. I have not been able to
locate a death certificate or place of burial for Michael. Marilla
married second to Wayne FASSETT on 12 April 1896 and to M.C. Sickler
on 27 July, 1901. Don't know if they died or if they divorced...

of Luzerne and State of Pennsylvania, being sick and weakly in body,
but of sound mind, memory and understanding, (praised be God for it)
considering the certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the time
thereof, and to the end I may be the better prepared to leave this
world whenever it shall please God to call me hence, do therefore
make and declare this my last will and Testament in manner
following, first and principally I commend my Soul into the hands of
Almighty God my Creator, and as to my ["messuage" or "messerage"],
lands, tenements and hereditaments whatsoever, situate, lying in
Lehman township, County of Luzerne, and State of Pennsylvania, do
